A manufacturer is any corporation, partnership, or individual engaged in the manufacture, importation, or distribution of toys and children’s consumer products intended for the North American market.
A retailer is any company, partnership, or individual actively and primarily engaged in the selling of toys and related children’s consumer products intended for the North American Market.
If you are a specialty toy retailer you may also want to consider joining the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association.
A licensor is any North American-based corporation or entity engaged in the licensing of its property to manufacturers of toys and children’s consumer products.
An inventor and/or designer is any North American-based corporation, partnership, or individual involved in the design, development, or sale of a new toy invention or design.
A manufacturers' sales representative is any North American-based corporation, partnership, or individual involved in the sale of toy manufacturers’ products to wholesale and retail customers.
An associate member is any North-American based corporation, partnership, or individual categorized in one of the following businesses:
A student is someone who is currently enrolled in a full-time study program at an accredited post-secondary institution, or a part-time student who is not employed full-time in the toy industry or not otherwise eligible for regular membership in the Toy Association.
