How The Toy Foundation’s Play Fund is Providing Play-Focused Upgrades at Children’s Hospitals

This year, The Toy Foundation™ Play Fund distributed $405,000 to 23 children’s hospitals to support a variety of play-focused projects that will benefit more than 245,000 children in need.

Toy Association Advocates for Harmonized Regulatory Framework to Address Inconsistent State Laws

The Toy Association™ submitted comments on September 15 in response to the U.S. Department of Justice’s Request for Information (RFI) on “State Laws Having Significant Adverse Effects on the National Economy or Significant Adverse Effects on Interstate Commerce.” The Association’s submission highlights how a patchwork of state regulations, particularly around packaging, chemical reporting, and outdated product restrictions, creates unnecessary burdens for toy companies while doing little to improve consumer safety.
