How to Get Involved in America’s 250th Anniversary Celebration (Webinar)

August 29, 2025
America 250

Get ready for America’s biggest birthday bash! As we approach the nation’s semiquincentennial — 250 years of independence — in 2026, nonpartisan initiative America250 is planning a celebration across every corner of the country, from lighting the Washington Monument like a giant birthday candle to hosting a Great American State Fair. An upcoming Toy Association webinar will provide information on the ways brands can participate in this once-in-a-lifetime celebration. Registration is now open.

Taking place Wednesday, October 1 at 2 p.m. (Eastern), “America250: Play, Patriotism, and Possibility — How Toymakers Can Celebrate the Semiquincentennial” will showcase how toy companies can tap into the surge of pride, joy, and nostalgia surrounding the nation’s 250th birthday. From developing patriotic product lines and reimagining historical figures for modern play, to leveraging collectibles and limited-edition items, the webinar will highlight the many ways toys can celebrate the American spirit. Attendees will also learn about licensing and co-branding opportunities with America250, as well as media, influencer, and storytelling moments that can help bring these once-in-a-lifetime products to families nationwide.

The webinar will be presented by America250’s Jennifer Condon, executive vice president, and Rachel Gerli, special advisor. Kathrin Belliveau, chief policy officer at The Toy Association, will moderate.

The session is open to all industry professionals at no cost; it is specifically recommended for brand leaders, marketers, designers, retailers, and communications teams that want to tap into the nationwide excitement of America’s 250th anniversary celebration.
